I was 21 when I first moved to Utah for my first s I was 21 when I first moved to Utah for my first season an an Outward Bound instructor. I quickly developed a deep love affair with the sport of technical canyoneering. Those first few years based in Moab, Iā€™d spend most of my free days exploring the incredible world of Utahā€™s slot canyons. A clip from 2 years ago while I was racing the AZT A clip from 2 years ago while I was racing the AZT800. I was just outside of Oracle, following a few incredibly rough days. If you know me, you know I donā€™t mesh with heat all too well. 2023 was šŸ„µ!! I believe close to 105Ā°F the first few days if I remember correctly. Anyways, it was a rough time. Tomorrow, Iā€™m lining up for the AZT300 grand depart 6am PST. Weather is looking notably cooler than last time I raced here. Looking forward to some proper mountain biking in the desert. Hoping I can cap off this season with some good old fashion fun.
